Merle Thistle - Indie Game Design Doc & Game Script

After the loss of her parents, Merle Thistle processes her grief as she and her uncle work to free her from the curse of a corrupted dark forest.

This game design doc was completed with the parameters of use by an indie studio.

The story is inspired by the parents who step in and step up for the kids they didn’t have but have chosen to keep. The protagonist, Merle Thistle, learns to be strong, do hard things, and make good choices when faced with an imminent and dangerous threat.
